Wow it's already 2012. The year 2011 was not bad for sales. I am grateful my business sales went up 30%, wow even with this economy. Thanks to all local New Orleans folks who support local and all who follow me on Facebook and look in on my web site.

In the beginning of the year I had some goals that I set for the coming year. Things that I thought were necessary to fgrow as a business and artist. I am glad to say that I have accomplished the majority of them, not giving up yet since there are four more months left in the year.
- I did work on my web site and made it more appealing. I have added items and have added one more goal and that is to list 100 jewelry items by the end of the year. That is a big number for m...

I love making and wearing turquoise jewelry. The Summer is the perfect time to wear it with amazing colors like yellow , black, fushia and white. It looks good on that tanned skin or on those that are not sun worshippers. You can layer the necklaces with pearls, silver or gold toned chains. Turquoise has become a staple in everyones wardrobe. It really is my fav time of year-summer. The weather,the fruit,the beach and yes the clothes. Don't need much just summery blouses, hoop earrings and blue eye shadows.I do miss doing my local NOLA markets and shows. I use this break wisely. Regroup and plan new designs. See what I am missing for big shows ahead. Concentrate on good sellers like earrings,wire rings. Build up a good inventory of stunning pieces for the Holidays.
